PDF tools on SnapTools
How to merge PDFs online
Start from the final order you want readers to experience — cover letter first, statement of work second, exhibits last. In SnapTools, select files in that sequence; our merge tool walks each PDF in order and appends every page into a single downloadable document.
Merging locally avoids uploading sensitive contracts to unknown servers. Guests and free accounts can combine up to two PDFs per run; Pro Suite unlocks larger batches when you are packaging diligence rooms or course readers.
Reducing file sizes for email and web
After merging, run the optimize tool to repack verbose object graphs. This step is lossless for page contents but may not shrink scanned books that are already compressed — pair it with upstream OCR or raster cleanup when needed.
For email, aim below your provider’s attachment ceiling and verify previews on mobile clients before sending externally.
Signing PDFs in the browser
PDFEdit signs, annotates, and whiteouts PDFs using the same privacy model as merge: your bytes stay in the tab. See the PDFEdit help page for a full walkthrough and limit notes.
